Layer 2 box-type switchesAX2600S Series
The AX2630S, which are high-end layer 2 Gigabit switches, add high security and reliability to the mission critical networks that must be non-stop.

The AX2630S Series supports Zero Trust Security (e.g., user authentication, micro-segmentation), Authenticity Verification (e.g., detection of device tampering in supply chain), and Trust Network features (e.g., stacking, 10G ring, power redundancy), all adding high security and high reliability to your mission critical network that must be non-stop.
- With the option license, you can upgrade four uplink ports from 1G to 10G, which allows you to handle increasing traffic.
In addition, you'll be able to use the AX2630S as a transit switch on a 10G ring. - Provides max. 1,440W PoE capacity to accommodate increasing WiFi6 access points and high-functionality network cameras.
(by adding an internal power supply module, you can feed full power using PoE+ (30W)) - Supports various functions required for floor switches (e.g., triple authentication, loop-detection function) .
- Cooperates with the automatic cyberattack prevention solution, which helps isolate a malware-infected terminal from LAN.
- Supports high reliability features (e.g., stack, internal dual power supply operation).
- Supports L2 Ring Protocol that enables fast switchover within 1 sec. (master /transit).
- Supports the Telemetry function that allows you to send mirrored data periodically or on event-driven basis in realtime mode.
- Supports automation using Python /Ansible.
- Supports wireless Bluetooth consoles.
- Supports the Secure Boot function: device does not start up unless its authenticity (proof that device/OS is not tampered) is confirmed.

Layer 2 Switch High-end Models
- Supports the functionality of the AX2300S, which is a standardized switch model.
- Supports the high-reliability features such as Stack and power supply redundancy.
- Serves as a floor, distribution or server switch.

40Gbps Uplink
- With the option license, you can upgrade 1G uplink (4 ports) to 10G uplink (4 ports).
- Use of up to 40G bandwidth by 10G link aggregation
- Realizes high-reliability backbones with expanded bandwidth to handle increasing traffic. Used for transit switches of 10G rings.
Industry-leading PoE capacity
- PoE capable of accommodating many Wi-Fi access points and high-functionality network cameras (AX2630S-24P4XW: max. 720W, AX2630S-48P4XW: max. 1,440W)
- PoE/PoE+ of 15W/30W (per port)
- With an add-in power supply module, possible to achieve power feeding of Class 3 (15.4W) / Class 4 (30.0W).
- Time-shifting power feeding to PoE devices saves electricity during peak consumption times (peak shift power supply function).
Various redundancy features for high reliability
- ALAXALA supports a stack functionality, which helps achieve simple redundancy of distribution / server switches.
- The internal dual power supply mechanism enhances network's reliability.
Easy-to-operate function that greatly reduces the workload of network managers
- The AX2630S serves as an L2 switch on a network edge, maintaining solid connectivity, usability and interoperability.
- The L2 loop detection function detects a device connection error on a network and prevents a loop.
- The AX2630S Series employs a USB memory card, in which logs and software updates are stored (SD card script).
- Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) allows you to download/install OS and configuration settings just by connecting to a network.
- The AX2630S Series supports the advanced script language Python and the configuration management tool Ansible (for simplified and automated operation).
- A USB port containing a Bluetooth dongle (under planning) will be available, which allows you to use your tablet/PC as a wireless console.
- The AX2630S Series supports the telemetry function, which sends mirrored data and subscribers' information (e.g., MAC addresses newly learned) in realtime*1.
*1: To be supported in the future.

Security that fends off cyber attacks
- Secure Boot allows you to check hardware/software authenticity before boot-up. The backdoor risks such as illegal access and information theft/leakage can be prevented.
- Triple authentication (IEEE802.1, Web-based authentication, MAC authentication) allows you to perform user authentication even in an environment where various terminal gadgets / OS exist.
- Multi-step authentication (combination of multiple authentication methods) allows simultaneous implementation of user authentication and blocking of unauthorized terminals.
- Realizes zero-trust security for campus networks with various security solutions (e.g., access control by network authentication, automatic cyberattack prevention, network visualization, failure detection solution).
Long life solution
- ALAXALA provides up to 10 years maintenance & troubleshooting support (long-term stable operation of customers' networks).
