    ALAXALA Networks Corp. (hereinafter, referred to as ALAXALA) engages in development, design, manufacturing, sales, and maintenance support related to network products, including routers and LAN switches, that support social infrastructures, and recognizes that providing convenient, reliable networks through its products is a top priority. As such, ALAXALA considers that maintaining the confidentiality of information ALAXALA handles through its businesses is very important from the perspectives of customers and societies alike. Further, each employee must keep in mind that establishing credibility with both customers and societies is essential to keep its business viable.

    ALAXALA handles information of various kinds, primarily its own technological data and information entrusted to it by customers. ALAXALA formulates regulations and builds a plan of management activity designed to maintain information security at ALAXALA, to give appropriate weight to the value of information. ALAXALA shall also establish information security guidelines, plus supporting documentation, and get them through to its executives and employees, to protect the information assets handled by ALAXALA. ALAXALA shall strive to maintain appropriate information security with clear objectives within the scope of the provisions hereof.
    1. Formulation and continuous improvement of information security control rules Out of its recognition that the effort to maintain information security is one of the key tasks in its scheme of management and operations, ALAXALA shall formulate information security management regulations compliant with and adhering to relevant laws and regulations and other codes of conduct. Further, it shall put in place a company-wide information security management system having the executives at its center, and steadily implement such system. In addition it shall maintain and continuously improve the security of organizational, human, physical and technological information.
    2. Protection of information assets and their continuous control ALAXALA shall devise secure control measures to protect in appropriate ways the information assets that it handles from threats to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information assets. It shall also devise appropriate controlling measures to continue its businesses.
    3. Adherence to laws, regulations and other norms ALAXALA shall adhere to laws, regulations and other norms, as well as contractual obligations relating to information security. Further, ALAXALA's information security control rules shall be formulated to conform to such laws, regulations and other norms, as well as contractual obligations. ALAXALA shall also impose appropriate punishment in accordance with the Employee Work Provisions in the case of any offense to them by any executives and employees.
    4. Education and training ALAXALA shall raise the awareness of executives and employees for information security, and carry out education and training in information security.
    5. Prevention of accidents and action in the case of their occurrence ALAXALA shall work to prevent information security breaches, and shall promptly take appropriate action, including recurrence prevention measures, in the event that such accidents occur.
    6. Establishing risk management ALAXALA shall formulate risk assessment regulations and procedures, identify risks to which its information assets are exposed, and implement a risk treatment plan.
    7. Reviews and audits ALAXALA shall periodically carry out reviews and internal audits on its information security management system, and improve the system based on the result of such reviews and audits.
