This section describes the operation messages for the event location PS.

This message appears when the following conditions are met:

  • When power redundancy-mode redundancy-check configuration is not set and the power is switched from an abnormal state to a normal state or from a power-not-supplied state to a normal state, the power supply that has been switched to a normal state is displayed.

  • Displayed when power redundancy-mode redundancy-check configuration is set when no power is supplied.

  • When power redundancy-mode redundancy-check configuration is set and the power is switched from an abnormal state to a normal state, or from a power-not-supplied state to a normal state, the power supply that has been switched to a normal state is displayed.

  • Displayed when power redundancy-mode redundancy-check configuration is deleted when the power is not supplied or the power is abnormal.

The displayed power supply unit is in a normal state.

<ps> displays a power supply unit (either PS1 or PS2) that is in a normal state.

This message appears when the following conditions are met:

  • When the power supply unit goes from an abnormal state to a normal state or from an unmounted state to a normal state, the power supply unit that goes to a normal state is displayed.

  • When either one of the power supply units in a redundant configuration is removed, the power supply unit in the normal state is displayed.

Access to the total operating time for the power supply unit failed.

<ps> displays the power supply unit (either PS1 or PS2) for which access to the total operating time failed.

This event does not affect communication and usual operation. However, you cannot use the total operating time management function. If you want to use this function, replace the power supply unit.

  2. The software of this version does not support the power supply unit. Check the type of the power supply unit and the software version.Either change the power supply unit, or update the software.

  3. The Switch does not support the power supply unit. Replace the power supply unit.
