2.3 FAN

This section describes the operation messages for the event location FAN.

	For fixed power supply models The indicated fan is stopped. The <fan> part indicates the stopped fans. <fan> FAN (1), FAN (2), FAN (3), or FAN (4) [Action] Replace the Switch. For power supply interchangeable model The indicated fan is stopped or not installed. The <fan> part indicates that the fan is stopped or not installed. Any of FAN1(1), FAN2(1), FAN3(1), FAN3(2), FAN3(3), or FAN3(4) [Action] 1. Check the condition of the power supply unit or fan unit. Confirm the mounting status by visual inspection or show system commandI will. 2. Replace the faulty power supply or fan unit.
	R8	<fan> is normal.
	The displayed fan is in a normal state. <fan> displays a fan in a normal state. For fixed power supply models <fan> FAN (1), FAN (2), FAN (3), or FAN (4) For power supply interchangeable model Any of FAN1(1), FAN2(1), FAN3(1), FAN3(2), FAN3(3), or FAN3(4) [Action] None.
00000004	E3	Failed in accumulated running time access to the fan unit.
00000004	Access to the total operating time for the fan unit failed. [Action] This event does not affect communication and usual operation. However, you cannot use the total operating time management function. If you want to use this function, replace the fan unit.
00000006	E8	<fan> is unknown.
	The fan unit is unknown. <fan> FAN3 [Action] The fan unit might not be fully inserted. Insert the fan unit properly. The Switch does not support the fan unit. Replace the fan unit.
	R8	Unknown <fan> was removed.
	An unknown fan unit was removed. This message is displayed when an unknown fan unit is removed after "<fan> is unknown." is displayed. <fan> FAN3 [Action] None.
00000007	E3	The direction of the fan changed to <airflow>.
00000007	The fan direction of the fan unit was changed. <airflow> displays the direction of the fan in the replaced fan unit. <airflow>: Fan direction of the fan unit F-to-R: Intake air at the front and exhaust air at the rear R-to-F: Intake air at the rear and exhaust air at the front [Action] None.
