14.5 Configuring 100GBASE-R and exclusive 100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T/10GBASE-T
This setting applies only to AX3660S-48XT4QW.
The factory-default setting is 40GBASE-R for ports 49-52, which are QSFP28/QSFP and shared ports. No 100GBASE-R is configured and all 100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T/10GBASE-T are enabled.
If QSFP28/QSFP + shared port is used in 100GBASE-R, the corresponding ports in ports 17 to 24 and ports 37 to 44 of 100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T/10GBASE-T port are disabled. The following tables show the correspondence between port numbers that use 100GBASE-R and 100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T/10GBASE-T ports that are disabled.

(1) Configuring QSFP28/QSFP + Shared Ports for 100GBASE-R
Set QSFP28/QSFP + shared port to 100GBASE-R. If the switch is restarted after configuration settings have been made, the specified ports can operate in 100GBASE-R. In addition, interface tengigabitethernet of the corresponding 100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T/10GBASE-T and its subordinate configuration are deleted.
- Points to note
-
In this case, port 49 of QSFP28/QSFP+ shared port is set to 100GBASE-R assuming that port 50 of QSFP28/QSFP+ shared port is not set to 100GBASE-R. After the setting, ports 21 to 22 of the corresponding 100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T/10GBASE-T port are disabled.
Command examples
-
(config)# system interface hundredgigabitethernet 1/0/49 enable
After this command execute, please save configuration editing now in startup-config, and please reboot a device.
Do you wish to continue ? (y/n):
Set the port 49(QSFP28/QSFP+ shared port) to 100GBASE-R. Enter y for the configuration change confirmation message.
-
(config)# save
(config)# exit
Saves the configuration and returns to administrator mode from configuration command mode.
-
# reload
Restarts the Switch.
After reboot, PORT49 can operate in 100GBASE-R. Of 100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T/10GBASE-T ports, interface tengigabitethernet of ports 21 to 22 and the configurations under them are deleted.
- Notes
-
If you configured it in a stacked configuration, restart all member switches that make up the stack.
