22.3 Description of PoE

PoE(Power over Ethernet) is a function that supplies power to networked devices using UTP cabling for data communication. PoE is used for network devices installed at locations where external power is not readily available. In PoE, the power supplier is called power sourcing equipment (PSE), and the power receiver is called a powered device (PD).

This device is a power supply device conforming to IEEE802.3af/IEEE802.3at standard. Connecting Pre.STD powered devices is not supported.
