14.1.5 Notes on Using Zero Touch Provision
- <Structure of this section>
(1) Coexistence with other functions
Zero touch provisioning cannot be used with the following features:
-
MC mode of operation
If both zero-touch provisioning and MC operation mode are enabled when the switch starts, MC operation mode is enabled and this function is disabled.
-
IP interface
If zero-touch provisioning is enabled, you cannot configure IP for VLAN interfaces. If there are VLAN interfaces with IP settings, this function cannot be enabled.
(2) About VLAN Used for Zero-Touch Provisioning
VLAN for zero-touch provisioning should be set as a VLAN dedicated to this function. VLAN used for this function are set to VLAN 1 (default VLAN) by default. Allocate VLAN dedicated to this function so that they do not overlap with other functions.
If you do not want to use zero-touch provisioning, use the configuration command no system zero-touch-provisioning to delete it.
