7.1.1 Support Specifications

The following tables show the supported specifications for UDP broadcast relay on the Switch.

When a subnet broadcast address is specified, packets are broadcast to the corresponding network.

Receiving

Fragmented packets are not rebuilt and are not forwarded.

Sending

The packets to be forwarded are fragmented according to DF.

VRF-enabled

The same VRF, and extranet # can be relayed between VLAN.

When using UDP broadcast relay in an extranet, use a configuration that uses route exchanges between VRF.
