Configuration Guide Vol. 1

3.5 Filtering QoS policy-based mirroring

The filter QoS policy-based mirroring discovery criteria is set in the Configuration (access-list,qos-flow-list). This section describes the upper limit of the number of entries converted from the set list to the format used internally by the device (entry) as a capacity limit for filtering QoS policy-based mirroring.

Select the flow detection mode, which is the common mode for filtering, QoS,, and policy-based mirroring, to determine the resource allocation by the filter QoS policy-based mirroring discovery condition. Set the required mode on both the receiving and sending sides, using the appropriate configuration command. The conditions for determining the maximum allowable flow entries differ according to the mode you select.

The receiver supports filtering, QoS, and policy-based mirroring, and the sender supports filtering. For details about the number of entries on the receiving side, see 3.5.1 Number of entries for filters on the receiving side, 3.5.2 Number of entries for QoS on the receiving side, or 3.5.3 Number of entries for policy-based mirroring on the receiving side. For details about the number of entries on the sending side, see 3.5.5 Number of entries for filters on the sending side.
