(1) Precedence of VLAN Determination for Frame Reception

When a frame is received, its VLAN is determined. The following table describes the priority for determining the VLAN.

Access port	Port VLAN
Protocol port	Protocol VLAN > port VLAN (native VLAN)
MAC port	MAC VLAN > port VLAN (native VLAN)
Trunk port	VLAN tag > port VLAN (native VLAN)
Tunneling port	Port VLAN
