21.2.3 Creating a Script File

Create a script file using an external device such as a PC, and then use a ftp to transfer the script file to the Switch. The following are notes on creation and transfer:

• Please use the character code (without UTF-8(BOM).

• When transferring data to the Switch by ftp, use a format that matches the format of the script file.

  Text script file (extension.py)

  Transfer in ASCII mode.

  Compiled script file (extension.pyc or.pyo)

  Transfer in binary mode.
