19.2.1 Command list

The following table lists the commands used to configure the log output facility.

Table 19-1: List of configuration commands (settings for outputting syslog)

logging event-kind

Sets the message type of the log data to be sent to syslog servers.

logging facility

Sets a facility to which log information is output via the syslog interface.

logging host

Sets the output destination for log information.

logging syslog-dump

Logs generated by the Switch are not stored in the on-chip flash memory.

logging syslog-version

Specifies the format version of syslog messages that are sent to syslog servers.

logging trap

Sets the level of importance for log information to be sent to the syslog server.

logging email

Sets the email address to which log information is output as an email.

logging email-event-kind

Use E-Mail to set the message type of the log information to be output.

logging email-from

Sets the sender of the log information output as an email.

logging email-interval

Sets the interval for sending output log information as an email.

logging email-server

Sets the SMTP server information for outputting log information as an email.

The following table lists the operation commands related to the log output facility.

Erases the log entries recorded by the Switch.

Shows the contents set by the set logging console command.
