15.1.4 Operation in case of failure

The following tables show the operation when a MC failure is detected while MC operation is enabled.

When the Switch starts up

MC not incorporated

The unit starts up with the software and device information of the internal flash memory.

In addition, an operation log indicating that reading of the data in MC failed is collected.

MC read fail

When inserting MC

An operation log indicating that MC failed is collected.

Also, ST2 LED lights in orange*1.

Insufficient MC space

When MC command*2 is executed

MC not incorporated

A response message is displayed indicating a command execution error.

If ST2 LED is lit in orange, remove MC and check the operation log.
