11.1.8 Notes on using SSH

(1) Multilingual SSH Clients Limitations

Some multilingual clients, such as Japanese, may send error messages to the server in characters other than ASCII characters (such as Japanese).

When displaying the log on SSH server of the Switch, in the part displaying the error message from the client, if the sent character is not a ASCII character, it is displayed encoded and converted to a character that can be displayed ASCII.

If possible, use a client that sends error messages in ASCII characters.
