11.1.6 Login control support

<Structure of this section>

(1) Allowing logins from remote operation terminals and the number of users that can be logged in simultaneously

To securely log in to the Switch or execute a secure command, you must set the configuration command line vty. Also, secure remote login and secure command execution are counted as the number of users of remote login and are subject to the user limit.

(2) Restricted by IP addressing of remote operation terminals

Accessing SSH servers of the Switch from a remote operation terminal is restricted by IP addressof the remote operation terminal.

(3) Login message display

When the login banner is set, the login message is displayed before and after login even if the remote operation terminal connects to the Switch by SSH.

Pre-login messaging is supported by SSHv2 only. This is displayed regardless of SSH basic function.

Post-login messaging is supported for both SSHv1 and SSHv2. It is displayed only for secure remote login. It is not displayed for secure command execution, SCP,, or SFTP.
