24.3.3 Notes on using the port VLAN

(1) Notes on Tagged Frames on the Access Port
Access ports handle untagged frames, discard any received tagged frames, and cannot perform transmission. If VLAN Tag is 0, the receive operation is the same as for Untagged frame.
(2) Notes on Native VLAN on Trunked Ports
If only the native VLAN is set for a trunk port, the operation is the same as for an access port.
