25.1.6 MAC address-learning suppression

MAC address table used can be managed by restricting dynamic MAC address learning by receive frames.

You can suppress dynamic MAC addressing for each VLAN. When dynamic MAC addresslearning is suppressed, frames received on VLAN subject to learning suppression are flooded.

If MAC address learning is suppressed while a VLAN is already learning a MAC address, entries in MAC address table that were learned in VLAN where MAC address learning was suppressed are deleted.
