25.1.1 Learn Source MAC

All received frames are subject to MAC address learning, in which the source MAC address is learned and registered in the MAC address table. Registered MAC addresses are kept until an aging timeout occurs.

MAC address learning is performed in units of VLAN, and MAC address table is managed by pairing of MAC address and VLAN. Different VLAN can learn the same MAC addressing.
