17.2.4 Running Update Commands in a Stacked Configuration

For stacked configurations, follow these steps to update:

1. Execute enable commandI will.

   The command prompt changes to "#".

2. Execute ppupdate switch <switch no.> /usr/var/update/k.img command on the master switch to update the update target switch other than the master switch.

3. Run ppupdate k.img commandto update the master switch.

   When the update is complete, the appliance automatically restarts.

4. After rebooting, log in to the device again.

5. Run show version command. Verify that it is working with the updated version.
