12.2.1 Command list

The following tables list the configuration commands related to time setting and NTP.

Table 12-7: List of configuration commands

Command name

clock timezone

Sets the time zone.

ntp access-group

Creates an access group that can be permitted or denied access to NTP services by means of an IPv4 address filter.

ntp authenticate

Enables the NTP authentication functionality.

ntp authentication-key

Sets an authentication key.

ntp broadcast

Sends NTP packets by broadcast for each interface, and configures other switches to synchronize with the Switch.

ntp broadcast client

Specifies the setting for accepting NTP broadcast messages from devices on the connected subnet.

ntp broadcastdelay

Specifies the estimated latency (time delay) between the NTP broadcast server sending time information and the Switch.

ntp master

Sets the local time server.

If there is no host NTP server, the Switch functions as a local time server and provides the time of the Switch to NTP clients.

ntp peer

Configure active/passive mode by symmetrically connecting NTP servers to the Switch.

ntp server

Set the Switch to client mode and configure client-server mode.

ntp trusted-key

Set the key number to authenticate for security purposes when synchronizing with other devices.

Displays the activity status of the connected NTP server.

Restarts the local NTP server.
