5.2.3 Input error position indication function

When an incorrect command or parameter is entered, the error position is indicated by "^" and an error message (see "Operation Command Reference" and "Message Displayed by Input Error Position Indication") is displayed on the next line. Input errors when you press the Tab key or type a question mark are indicated in the same manner.

Check and re-enter the command or parameter, referring to the marked location and error message. Figure 5-5: Example of display when spelling errors occur and Figure 5-6: Example of display during parameter input are shown.
