4.2.3 Stopping the equipment

Powering off the Switch while files are being accessed might corrupt the files. Make sure that no users are logged in before you power off the Switch. ALAXALA Networks Corporation recommends that you first stop the switch by using the reload stop operation command, and then turn off the power. You can turn OFF the power by unplugging the power cord that is attached to the server.
