2.1 EQUIPMENT

This section describes the operation messages for the event location EQUIPMENT.

	The hardware temperature went below the permissible temperature range (<temperature> degrees Celsius or lower). <temperature> 5 [Action] Check and, if necessary, improve the environment such as the room temperature around the switches. Check and, if necessary, replace the fan.
	R7	The temperature of hardware returned to normal level (<temperature> degree).
	The hardware temperature returned to normal (<temperature> degrees Celsius). <temperature> 8 [Action] None.
00020103	E7	Hardware exceeded tolerance level of high temperature (<temperature> degree). Check that room temperature and the fan is operating normally.
	The hardware temperature rose above the permissible temperature range (<temperature> degrees Celsius or higher). <temperature> 75 [Action] Check and improve the environment such as ventilation and heat sources around the switches. Check and, if necessary, replace the fan.
	R7	The temperature of hardware returned to normal level (<temperature> degree).
	The hardware temperature returned to normal (<temperature> degrees Celsius). <temperature> 72 [Action] None.
00020105	E9	Hardware is becoming high temperature which give damage to this system (<temperature> degree).
00020105	The hardware temperature has reached a temperature (<temperature> degrees Celsius or higher) that is likely to critically damage device operation. <temperature> Temperature detected (80°C or higher) [Action] Check and improve the environment such as ventilation and heat sources around the switches. Check and, if necessary, replace the fan.
00020106	E3	The temperature of hardware reached the warning level (<temperature> degree).
00020106	The hardware has reached the temperature that is set with the system temperature-warning-level configuration command. <temperature> Temperature inside the device (Celsius) [Action] The temperature of the device has reached the specified temperature. Check the environment surrounding the device (condition of the fan, ventilation, existence of the heat sources, etc.).
00020107	E3	The temperature of hardware came down from the warning level.
00020107	The hardware temperature has been 3 degrees Celsius or more lower than the temperature that is set with the system temperature-warning-level configuration command. [Action] None.
01200190 01200212 25040202	E9	System will restart due to hardware error detected.
01200190 01200212 25040202	The Switch is restarted due to a hardware error. [Action] Replace the Switch.
01200191	E9	System will restart to correct a transient error. When the system corrects the error, there is no need to change the system.
01200191	Restart the equipment to repair a temporary fault. [Action] Use it as it is after rebooting. Device replacement is not required. Replace the device if it occurs frequently.
01200211 2600000d 3900000b	E9	The temperature of the device on this system is too high.
01200211 2600000d 3900000b	The temperature of the devices making up the Switch is very high. [Action] Replace the Switch.
01200214	E7	Failed in hardware temperature monitoring.
	The hardware temperature could not be acquired successfully. [Action] If it is automatically restored, use it as is. If this event continues, replace the equipment.
	R7	Hardware temperature monitoring is recoverd.
	The hardware temperature can now be retrieved successfully. [Action] None.
25040200	R8	Hardware initialized.
25040200	The hardware has been initialized. [Action] None.
25040201	E8	Hardware restarted because of its failure.
	The switch was restarted because a hardware failure occurred at the switch. [Action] Check subsequent fault recovery log entries or fault recovery failure log entries. If the recovery was successful, operations can resume. If the recovery failed, replace the device.
	R8	Hardware recovered.
	The switch recovered from a hardware failure. [Action] None.
25040400	E8	Hardware restarted, but not recovered.
25040400	The device restarted, but it has not recovered from a hardware failure. [Action] Replace the Switch.
25040c01	E3	Corrected memory soft errors.
25040c01	The system has recovered from a memory software error. Some frames may be discarded because of the software error. [Action] None. This indicates that the memory data bits inside a switch processor might have been abruptly altered (for example by cosmic rays from a solar flare) and a software error is issued temporarily. This is not a hardware failure.
