1.1.5 Output to remote server

The Switch can use syslog output function or E-Mail send function to output not only operational messages, but also messages classified by message type to remote servers. For more information, refer to the "Configuration Guide Vol.1" "17 Logging".

• Syslog Out Function

  Syslog function can be used to output various messages to remote servers. However, syslog function may lose data due to frame loss, etc.

• E-mail transmission

  You can send various messages as mail by using E-Mail send function. This functionality cannot receive emails. If you reply to the e-mail sent by this function, a sending error occurs.
