Configuration Guide Vol. 1

3.6 Filtering QoS

The filtering QoS is detected using access-list and qos-flow-list configuration commands. The following describes filter and QoS capacity limits, given by the maximum number of entries set in an access or flow list that can be converted into the format used internally by a switch.

Select the flow-detection mode, which is the common mode for filters and QoS, and receivers and senders, to determine the resource allocation based on the filter QoS discovery criteria. Use the configuration command flow detection mode to set the flow detection mode. The conditions for determining the maximum allowable flow entries differ according to the mode you select. The receiver supports filters and QoS, and the sender supports filters.
