Advanced Security

  • Authentication/quarantine solutions
    • Supports both IEEE 802.1X and Web authentication. By using these functions with MAC VLAN, it becomes possible to authenticate each terminal even in an environment where network configuration is dynamically changed according to the number of accommodated users. Also, by allowing entry of each authenticated terminal into a user-specified VLAN, it becomes possible to build a robust secure VLAN.
    • In combination with authentication/quarantine servers, possible to provide a quarantine solution in which only PCs that have passed quarantine checks are connected to a business VLAN automatically.
  • Prevention of unwanted data flow
    • With uRPF (unicast Reverse Path Forwarding), possible to prevent fraudulent access (e.g., spoofing).
