The AX2400S series are gigabit layer 2 switches that possess high security functions and achieve high performance/cost ratios. The switches are compact at 1U and support 10G uplinks. The switches allow for construction of high performance and highly reliable LAN networks in combination with the AX7800S series.

Features
1.Security Function
- Authentication/Quarantine Solution
It is possible to connect a PC to an arbitrary VLAN by maintaining the freedom of the physical configuration of the edge and authenticating the individual PC with the center authentication method that employs the IEEE802.1X function and the MAC VLAN function.
It is possible to construct a quarantine solution that automatically connects PCs that have passed the quarantine check to business VLAN by combining the authentication server and the quarantine server.
- Packet/Filter Function
The switches provide the packet/filter function which is equivalent to that of the layer 3 switch by distinguishing the L2/IPv4/IPv6/TCP/UDP headers.
2.High Reliability/Availability

It is possible to construct highly reliable networks with redundancy for the lines, routes and devices by employing the standard functions such as link aggregation, RSTP and unique functions such as the GSRP (Gigabit Switch Redundancy Protocol).
The high speed rerouting in case of failures is possible by cooperating with high level switches that use GSRP (GSRP Aware Function).
