Commencement of Business Partner Program for Backbone Switches and Routers (AX Series)

-Strengthening joint production and cooperation with retailers and SI partners through various forms of support including the parts provision -

Alaxala Networks (President: Hiroyuki Wada) has commenced the provision of a Business Partner Program aimed at providing sales and technical assistance, incentives, information, and training for business partners that are involved in the sale of backbone switches and routers, (AX Series) and the construction of network systems. Alaxala, through this program, aims to strengthen the joint production power and cooperation between business partners and to further increase sales of the AX Series through the expansion of sales channels.

In recent years, the network business has experienced rapid growth in response to the varying needs of the market, such as full support of broadband, voice integration and IPv6. As a result, it has become necessary to provide network environments to a variety of end users regardless of their business category, function and size. Amidst such a market, Alaxala has formulated its Business Partner Program, a program that covers joint product development and solution development (Joint production) and proposal formulation, strategy sharing and joint promotions (Cooperation). These initiatives have been formulated in order to increase the sales network of the AX Series and to enhance network system construction and operation support framework.

In the area of sales, the program aims to provide partners with the means to increase sales such as detailed product information and examples of applications and product evaluations and testing environments. On the technical side, the program will offer merits in the form of discounts in accordance to sales plans formulated early on, sales performance based incentives and incentives for individual sales team leaders.
One particularly significant aspect of the program is support offered in the form of parts provision. Alaxala, through the program, offers to manage all parts for maintenance purposes that were, under the conventional business model kept by the business partners, and deliver them when necessary to the designated location. By way of such, partners will no longer be required to bear the burden of holding on to parts for maintenance and will be released from warehousing and distribution operations allowing for the provision of a more effective maintenance service.

The benefits of the expansion of the Business Partner Program for the end user lies in the fact that they may now feel at ease when purchasing a product from the AX Series from any of the Alaxala approved partners.
