ALAXALA Networks Inauguration Celebration

The ALAXALA Networks Inauguration Celebration was staged on October 19, 2004 at a hotel in the Tokyo Metropolitan area. The event program included an explanation of the business directives of ALAXALA Networks, an introduction of the Board Members and salutations from our shareholders, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi Ltd., Mr. Etsuhiko Shoyama, and the President of NEC Corporation, Mr. Akinobu Kanasugi. Salutations were followed by a toast and time for social interaction. Despite the unfortunate weather conditions over 400 attended the celebration.
